Apply for an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization)
Eligible international travelers from visa-exempt countries who wish to enter to Canada by air or transit through, must apply for an electronic travel authorization. It is an entry requirement valid for five years or until your passport expires, whichever happens first, allowing travelers to visit Canada many times for a six months maximum stay during the 5 years validity period. Applying for an eTA at our website is a simple and quick process, most applicants get their approval confirmation e-mail within 3 hours or less, however some applications will be require to present certain supporting documents requested by the Canadian Immigration Services, if this is your case, an e-mail will be sent with instructions. How do you apply for eTA & what do you need?
▶ Biographical information & documents: Get your passport ready, you will need a a valid passport from a eTA visa-exempt country.
▶ Application: Fill the eTA application formhere. You will receive 2 confirmation e-mails, one for payment and one with your travel authorization status update and eTA number.
